Oh my goodness, did you ever think you’d see the day!? You’re reading a blog post… that I wrote, what!? I am totally stoked that this day has finally come and that you’re really here! I can’t wait to get this baby rolling.
In the works for this blog is an ORC challenge and I don’t know what I’m doing. Like at all. Like I may as well be trying to master the art of origami in one day. Is origami hard? I don’t even know, I just image precision paper folding would not be my strength. Point is, this ORC may be a disaster people. Stay tuned as we see if I can figure it out. For those who don’t know about the ORC, It is a One Room Challenge. It is a blog challenge to redesign a space in six weeks. No stress, no pressure. It’s fine, Im calm, STOP TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN…. no you’re yelling!
Anyway. Other than the ORC I am planning to share lots more with you. Like in my lifestyle section, I’m hopping to create a “how to experience the Monterey Peninsula” guide. Where to go, what to see, what to do with kids, where to eat, stay, shop. We happen to live in a destination location for travelers around the world. Why not give you some intel on what to do if you come here! Right!? Then of course I will be sharing design tips. How to layer rugs, patterns, sharing source details for great furniture, paint, textiles. All the delicious design things you’re probably expecting if you found your way here via Instagram. So have no fear, design will be a big part of this blog story!
