I wanted the collections to shine independently but also live harmoniously together so they could be mixed and matched; like we did in our kitchen. That is why both are finished in muted neutral tones with gold leaf detail. We are absolutely in love with how these came to life and cannot wait for you to enjoy them in your own homes. I played with florals in the base plate of both collections. A more subtle nod to florals was demonstrated in the primrose base plate, paired with a scalloped shade; making the pieces delicate but not juvenile. Whereas I embraced a more literal floral base plate for the Kismet line but paired it with a structured pleated shade; again keeping that balance between whimsy and elevated. We used metal and glass materials so they could lend themselves to wet spaces, like kitchens and baths, and remain easy to wipe clean.
